New Postage Edge Squares from Spellbinders Paperarts

Hello my friends! I am so happy that Spellbinders has come out with a new collection called Postage Edges by Becca Feeken. Today’s card features the Postage Edge Squares dies that have a combination of stamp like edges and pierced edges. I have been dying to send Santa a letter so it was only natural to pair it with the Parcel and Post dies. Let me know what you think.

I had so much fun creating this card. I have made a square card for a while so I was really happy to work with the Postage Edge Square dies. I cut the larges postage die with Silver Fox cardstock and the second larges with Brushed Gold cardstock. In addition to those layers I cut the largest pierced square in white. I made the card base by scoring a 5.5 x 11 inch piece of cardstock at 5.5 inches creating the square card.

Now comes the fun creating the mail box. The mailbox was die cut using the Parcel and Post die and Pomegranate cardstock. To add a little dimension to areas of the mailbox I blended Fired Brick Distress Ink over it. All of the floral were cut with white and colored with Copics, but you could definitely use colored cardstocks. Now isn’t that sentiment gorgeous? That’s from the All Occasion Mailbox Greetings and Gold Glimmer Hot Foil. I just love this. I added a few turquoise gems and gold stickles to embellish this fun card before calling it complete.
