Hello friends! Today I am sharing a mini slimline card made with the Nativity Hot Foil Plate by Scrappy Tails Crafts. I love this plate and think it makes for a stunning, but easy to create Christmas card. Once you add the shimmer and shine from the foil I don’t think it calls for much more embellishment. But isn’t the reason for season beautiful all on His own?
I paired the Nativity Hot Foil plate with Speckled Prism Hot Foil to create this dreamy backdrop. I applied the foil onto smooth white cardstock and then applied black ink over it. The foil resists the ink so only the areas void of the foil absorb the ink. When finished you can buff off the excess ink. Pretty cool right? I then trimmed the panel down lining up the edges of nativity along my guillotine trimmer creating this fun shape. I then adhered it to a mini slimline card base and repeated the process with my trimmer. Finally I embossed the sentiment from the English Christmas Village stamp set. I just love how this came out!
