Glittery Christmas Card with Slimline Snowflake Coverplate

Today I am sharing a Christmas card full of glittery goodness with the Slimline Snowflake Coverplate die from Scrappy Tails Crafts. I love it when a card comes together quickly pulls a huge impact. When I say quickly, I mean as fast as you can throw down some ink colors, and for me that means a few minutes!

I blended Distress Oxide Inks in the colors Blueprint Sketch, Saltwater Taffy, Seedless Preserves, and Peacock Feathers concentrating each color in three different colors, all butting up against one another. I also splattered the panel with white acrylic paint and layed it aside to dry. From there, I cut the Slimline Snowflake Coverplate die using silver glitter cardstock, which worked like a dream. The die cut layer was adhered with wet glue because I think that’s the easiest. Next I stamped the sentiment from the Christmas Market set onto a white rectangle to center it on the front of the card. Finally a few pink baubles were added for even more shimmer and shine!
