Hello my friends! I am so excited about the October New Release from Sweet Sentiment Stamps. Did you know that Sweet Sentiment is singular and not plural because they only have one “sweet” sentiment in the stamp sets, and the rest are a little snarky? Awesome right? Today I have three cards that I am sharing with you from the new release, and I’m sure you will see several more over the next month.
I changed this sentiment up a bit from Cleo and Egypt so that it would reflect my current cat situation. She leaves me pyramids everywhere she goes. I of course, had to color this beautiful cat from Life is Good to look like mine. But, really I am swooning over the pyramids on the night sky.
I was this many years old when I learned that a beetle.. or Scarab meant renewal or rebirth in Ancient Egypt. I feel so smart now! This beauty from Life is Good was so much fun to color, so I put it on a monochromatic background so it would be the star of the show. I’m curious how would you use the Pharaoh’s Mandala stencil? The co-owner, Jammie, loves to color and make 3D flowers, so you can usually find a new floral in most releases. The Motivational Mum actually has 4 layers to create beautiful bunches, but today I am showing it with just one layer. I needed a break from traditional Autumn colors, so I went with this. I happen to love this ink blend, and the blue leaves make my heart happy!!! Later this month I will use this same stamp to make dimensional flowers, but you can find more examples over at Sweet Sentiment!
