Who doesn’t love a shaker card, espeically with Cleo and her dog Egypt? I think Sweet Sentiment Stamps knocked it out of the park with their Egyptian themed stamps this month. I’m loving this cute shaker made of pyramids from the Cleo and Egypt stamp set. Let me know what you think.
I colored the Cleo and Egypt stamp set with Copics and then cut them with the accompanying dies which can be purchased separately. I love having the matching dies because it made it so simple to make the shaker element. When I make a shaker I back the card panel with acetate, add the foam tape and sequins and then add another piece of acetate to contain them instead of trying to lay the card base directly onto the panel. Since I used this method I was able to line up the stamped pyramids and secure them with tape. This made it so much easier and kept the sequins from catching on any glue! I’d love to know what you think? The background was blended with Distress Oxides in the colors, Antique Linen, Crackling Campfire, and Gathered Twigs.
