Tell me, have you ever loved someone, but sleeping next to his snoring body, made you want to take out an axe? Okay, don’t admit to anything! But you know you have felt this way at least once. Lol. I couldn’t help but laugh when I saw this cute Voo Doo stamp from Whimsy, and knew right away I had to change it up a bit to make it more Halloween like!
I mentioned changing the scene a little bit and did that by cutting off the balloon that accompanied the orange doll from Voo Doo, and adding the axe from Headless Horseman to him. Pretty clever right? The axe normally faces the opposite way, and because I am lazy I didn’t use the kiss technique to flip it, but fussy cut the image and used a marker to color the flip side black. I’m so sneaky like that!
The background was pretty easy too. I die cut the sunburst paper from the Surreally Cool Halloween paper pack with the Extreme Postage die and matted it with a black layer. I used the same die to cut the sentiment banner. Didn’t this come out amazing?
