Omg! I am in love with this Holiday Express die from Spellbinders! I was super impressed with how easy it was to assemble and this will now become my Christmas cards that I mass produce! Decorating the train under our Christmas tree is my favorite tradition, so naturally this die screamed my name!!!
I went with a traditional color palette for this pretty train, because I wanted it to look like the North Pole Express train which is my favorite holiday movie. I die cut the pieces from Holiday Express in black and red pearlescent papers with accents of gold. The presents were cut from random patterned papers in my scrap pile. That’s a bonus to die cutting… using up the scraps. For the background, I blended three colors of Distress Oxide inks for a snow evening appearance. Finally I cut the sentiment using the Tinsel Time Sentiments die, making for a quick and simple card!
