Hot Foiled Plumeria Birthday Card

Hey friends! I have a quick birthday card to share with you featuring the Plumeria Hot Foil Plate from Scrappy Tails Crafts. When I saw this set I knew I had to have it because I actually have a plumeria tattoo that I got in Maui. Every time I see a plumeria it brings back the best memories of cruising along in convertible with my hair blowing in the salty air. Nice right?

Creating this card was a breeze and started out by foiling the plumerias in pink hot foil and the leaves in a teal color. I also foiled the sentiments in black foil using my Glimmer Hot Foiling System. What’s nice about the Scrappy Tails Hot Foil Plates they are compatible with most hot foil systems on the market. Once the foiling was complete I used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I also used an embossing folder to add subtle detail to the background and inked the left side that flowers overlay with yellow dye ink. Before arranging the elements I matted the focal panel in black and then adhered it to an A2 card base. I finally arranged the flowers tucking some behind one another and popping others up with foam tape to add dimension. I am including a few more photos because as the light hits in different angles you will see the vibrancy and detail of the foiling.
