My husband and I are a match made in heaven and I really mean that. I actually prayed very specifically for him, and one day he knocked on my door (literally). I truly believe he was chosen for me. I wasn’t very good at choosing for myself and really missed the mark on my first husband, so I left up to someone bigger than me to choose this one. Anyhow I am heading out of town to teach at a crafting retreat, and thought I would make this cute card to leave behind for my husband. Knowing him, he’d rather I leave real cookies, but I took them with me! Lol! I couldn’t think of a better collection from Scrappy Tails than the Sweet Treats!
I started out by die cutting the Cookies from the first. I used a dark brown card stock for the base layer and a kraft card stock for the top layer. To add a little bit of dimension and realism, I blended Vintage Photo Distress Oxide ink along the edges. Next I stamped a sentiment from Sweet Treats with the same ink toward the top center. After that I blended Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide ink in the bottom left corner of the focal panel to make the cookie pop a bit.
