Monochromatic Die Cut Background Floral Slimline Card

Hello friends! I hope you’re having a great week so far. I have to admit my head is somewhere on a beach and the colors of my card reflect that fact. I’m using nontraditional colors for my florals and a monochromatic background using Marker Forte‘s Around the Curve slimline die set. I’d love to know what you think of my design. Leave me a comment below! I love reading your feedback!

I started by die cutting pearlescent cardstock such as Starlight Metallic Cardstock which is a champagne color with the Around the Curve slimline die and matting it with the same paper to create a tone on tone background for my card. I then adhered that using foam tape onto a Cappucino colored slimline card base.

Next I stamped the Live Life In Full Bloom floral image onto smooth cardstock using Color Hive Eclipse ink and colored it with Copics. Once the coloring was complete I fussy cut it using my Brother Scan n Cut before popping it up on foam tape. I stamped both sentiments with Embossing Glue ink and embossed them in gold. I added a few gold sequins to add shimmer and shine to my design. Be sure to watch the video below for all of the details!
