Hello friiends! How are you? Check in with me in the comments below. I have a slimline card to share with you using the the Sweet Treats stamp set from Scrappy Tails Crafts. This set has been on my mind a lot lately since Easter is quickly approaching. You may find that weird, but for Easter each year my Mom made us homemade chocolate lollipops,, bunnies, and candy galore. My brother and I had to be the luckiest kids ever to have such a sweet mama. Anyways, that’s enough about me, let’s get into the card…
To create this card I stamped the lollipops across a 3×6 inch smooth cardstock panel and colored them with Copics. In my opinion the best part was decorating the lollipops. I used a combination of white enamel accents, stickles, and glossy accents to get the fun texture and shine on them. Before adding the sentiment strip, I inked the edges of the panel with Distress Oxide ink in the color Vintage photo for the perception of more depth and texture. The sentiment was then heat embossed on vellum and wrapped around the panel so that the glue lines wouldn’t show through. From there I matted it with a pink layer and then applied it to the kraft card base. Pretty easy and quick right? I hope you give it a try!
