Hello friends! Unfortunately I needed a sympathy card and caught myself not having one in my stash. I think it’s very important to have these on hand, as they are really hard to create at the time of your loss. Anyhow, I used the Refresh the Soul digital stamp set from Joy Clair Designs because I think the lily is stunning.
I wanted a clean and simple design, but with texture so I chose to use a layering cover plate die for my background. I’ve been thinking about it, an embossing folder would have been great alternative, in case you don’t have something like this. I printed the floral from Refresh the Soul onto smooth cardstock and colored it with my favorite blue-violet blend of Copic markers. I also used one of the sentiments from the same stamp set and framed it with a label die. I chose to mat the focal panel in the same purple before adhering to an A2 card base. I add a few gems to add a little sparkle and called it done.
Copic Coloring:
flower: BV 08, 04, 02, 01
leaves: YG 01, 03, 17, 67
