Blooming Anemones for Sweet ‘n Sassy

Hello friends! I’m back with a new project for Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps. I’m really having fun playing with their beautiful stamps and today I chose work with the Blooming Anemones. Let’s take a look…

I started out by stamping the Blooming Anemones with Memento ink and colored with Copics. At first I was going to make this a one layer card, but ultimately decided to fussy cut the image so that I could add a fun background. For the background I blended distress oxides in the colors Villainous Potion, Wilted Violet, and Shaded Lilac. Once I was happy with the blend I added the Script stencil with Black Soot. My next step was to add gold acrylic paint splatters to both the floral and background. While that dried I heat embossed in gold the sentiment the Script Sentiments stamp set. I then matted the layers in gold mirror card stock and then applied it to a purple A2 sized card base. Pretty quick and easy, but oh so pretty!
