Hello friends! Do the holidays have you feeling like you’re on a tight rope, like you’re trying to balance all of the things at once? I feel like that right now. I will be traveling two different times during the holiday season, which makes it hard to decorate, shop, and wrap presents in a two week period, but somehow it will get done. If you need a bit of down time, checkout Trinity Stamps A Few of Our Favorite Things Instagram hop featuring some the ambassador team. You may have guessed by now, that I chose to feature the Balancing Act stamp set, because it best articulates my thoughts right now.
I created a mini slimline card because the size was perfect to highlight the Balancing Act! I stamped all of the images from the set with Memento ink and colored them with Copics before cutting them out with my Cut-n-Scan. On the front panel, using a T-Ruler I drew in the tight rope, but there is a stamp for it, but I would never get it straight. I also embossed the greeting with black powder before creating the scene. I planned out where the clown’s head was going to be and then blended Mustad Seed Distress Oxide ink through the Good Morning Stencil and from there built the scene. I just love this card, and hope it made you giggle today!
