Hello friends! Are you ready for Halloween? I just can’t wait to see all of the ghosts and goblins trick-or-treating, and seeing all of my neighbors. It’s been almost two years since we last had a “real” Halloween! That’s hard to imagine! This entire week I have been sharing fun and spooky projects, and today I have one for Joy Clair Designs. My card today is a Sweet Halloween celebration.
For this Sweet Halloween card, I printed the image onto smooth cardstock and colored it with Copic markers. I did a bright wash of green for the background so that the purple and orange frosting would pop off the page. In addition to the Happy Halloween sentiment from the same stamp set, I drew in creepy spider webs for added detail. Before matting the panel on purple glitter cardstock I splattered it with Distress Mica Stain in the color of Hocus Pocus. Pretty simple right, but super cute!
Below I attached a quick video showing the purple frosting being colored.
Okay I think that pretty much sums up this beautiful, but easy to create card. I hope this inspires you to take a look at the Joy Clair Designs Shop today!
