A Frightful Brew For You

Hello friends! How are you doing? I’m a little frustrated as I wasted away the day trying to get my new iphone activated. I never thought I would convert to 5G and let me tell you it has been a nightmare so far. I’m hoping I have worked out the bugs and it will be smooth sailing from here. Along with my nightmare, I have made a frightful brew to share with you this evening. I’m using fun products from Trinity Stamps to make this fun Halloween card.

I just love this cute die cut cup of pumpkin goodness and its silly ghost from the Boo Brew Die set which I chose two shades of orange to create. I cut the ghost twice, once in white and the other in black so that I could inlay the mouth and eyes. In hindsight I could have just added a black layer behind the white and skipped the die cutting. That will tell you where my head was tonight. Oh and I forgot to add the adorable spider that is sitting on my desk. In addition to the diecut jack-o-lantern I colored up 4 pumpkins from the Pick of the Patch Slimline stamp set. I chose the individual pumpkins that came in the set because I wasn’t making a full patch.

Once I had the pumpkins complete, I then created the background by blending Distress Oxides in the colors Crushed Olive, Blueprint Sketch, Prize Ribbon, and Black Soot. I then splattered the panel with white acrylic paint and shimmer spray. Once the panel was dry I added the images and a few Bubble Bath Baubles for a little extra shine. Pretty fun right? So I hope your Halloween is as frightful as my iPhone experience… lol

I hope that you will give this card a try! If you do, don’t forget to tag me on social media, and Trinity Stamps too!
