A Bear-thday Wish For You

Hello crafters! I’m curious do you ever clean your craft room and find old friends that you have never used before? That happens to me often. I get so excited when new releases or card kits come out and then they get filed away before you know it! I decided to pull out supplies from May 2019 to make my card today, and of course I held it all together with Bearly Art glue! I’m also excited to share with you a collaboration between Bearly Art and Ground Up Creations, whom so generously provided a a variety of cardstocks for the team to use.

My goal and the goal of Team Grizzly is to inspire FIVE other crafters to create a project and tag Bear Attack for others to keep the fun going. I think of it like the “Halloween Boo” fun among neighbors. Once you have decided to Bear Attack someone leave me a comment below for the verbiage to include over on Instagram! Be sure to tag us with the following hastags: #BAinspiration #bearlyart and #bearlyartbearattack

Now onto the card details… I started out by stamping the Stay Wild images and sentiments onto smooth cardstock (Spellbinders May 2010 KOM). The sentiments were stamped with Versafine Onyx Black ink and heat embossed with clear powder. The bear was stamped with Rich Cocoa Memento ink so that I could add a little shading with Copics. The fun balloons are from an EK Success punch and done five times with different colors of Ground Up Creations Variety 12×12 cardstock packs. I used Licorice twine from FSJ to pull them all together. Before adhering them down with Bearly Art Glue, I stenciled on clouds with Salvage Patina Distress Oxide ink. Once happy with arrangement I die cut the layers with The Greetery Crimped Slimline dies and added the sentiments.
