Hello friends! I hope you’re having a great day? I have been in prayer lately for our country and world as Afghanistan has been come under government changes. Naturally when I came across this stamp set from Joy Clair Designs, I just had to use it. Today’s card features the You Make Me Proud digital stamp which comes with three images and 4 beautiful sentiments. Let’s take a look.
I started my project by sizing and printing the You Make Me Proud stamp set onto smooth cardstock to fit approximately a 3×6 inch panel. Before coloring my floral image, I blended Distress Ink in the color of Squeezed Lemonade over the entire panel. I chose yellow because it is a good underlay color for greens, reds, and oranges. I also printed the sentiment from You make me proud and blocked it by drawing in free hand lines with a fineliner pen. Once happy with the coloring, I die cut the front panel using the Wonky Stitched Mini Slimline dies. I kept the embellishments simples as I wanted the flowers to be the star of the show!!
