Mandala Love from Joy Clair Designs

Hi and welcome back! I’m glad you’re here with me today for another fabulous project for Joy Clair Designs. This card features Mandala Love which is a little different for me because I usually stray away from fluorescent, bold colors. This takes me back to when I used to color adult coloring books with gel pens, but this time it’s on much larger scale and I’m using Karin Brushmarker Pros. But honestly, you could choose any medium for this because I did zero blending or shading. Let’s take a look….

I printed one of the images from Mandala Love onto smooth card stock using my laser printer to fill a 5.25 inch square area. I chose multiple bright markers and colored each area so that it would be symmetrical and then fussy cut it out. Since I was layering the Mandala onto black card stock, I did run a black sharpie along the edge of the paper to give it a more finished look.

No card is complete without a sentiment. The one I chose is from the Floral Joy digital stamp, which I printed and trimmed down to make a banner. I added just a few enamel dots and a bow to keep the embellishments simple due to the bold image.

Okay I think that pretty much sums up this beautiful, but easy to create card. I hope this inspires you to take a look at the Joy Clair Designs Shop today!
