Hello friends! I recently found a new to me line from Whimsy Stamps called Polka Dot Pals. I love this line because I really want to learn how to shade and create facial features. This stamp set come me with “just the eyes” and has the option of stamping in more facial features. The option to add the features gives me a guideline to follow so that I can start thinking about shading. Eventually I would love to be good enough that I can draw in and shadow the face without the artist drawn lines. But for now I am very thankful for them!!! My card today features Polka Dot Pals Syeda which has the cutest little piggy ever! You may not know this, but my family had a pet pig that loved to give piggy kisses. lol. Can you imagine?
For this one I stamped the main image and the facial stamp with Memento inks and colored them with Copics. I decided to go with an A7 sized card base so that I could include the bold sentiment that comes with the set. The background scene is an easy one achieved with simple blends of Copics. That wraps it up for me.
I’d love to know what you think of it?
Since I love this stamp so much, I am going to give away one Polka Dot Pals Syeda stamp set over on my instagram page. So head on over there, and follow, like, and comment, and tag friends for more chances to win!
Just a small disclaimer! All items used in all of my projects are (or have been) purchased with my own funds, but this does not include design team items that I have received or otherwise stated.
Until next time… keep crafting!!!
