Hello crafters! I’m back with a card for The Rabbit Hole Designs! My love for sending out cards or Snail Mail has been amplified with this cutie!
I created this scene by stamping Snail Mail with Memento ink and coloring it with copics. Because I love a crisp, dark outline, I replaced the panel back into my Misti and stamped it again with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink and heat embossed it after coloring the image and scene. I also heat embossed the sentiment from Adventure Awaits. I think the sentiment is perfect for this little guy!!!
To create the embossed panel, I inked the folder up with Distress Inks in the colors of Tumbled Glass and Broken China before placing the card stock inside. I have found that with these 3D embossing folders using the two cutting plates with my Gemni gives the perfect result without adding the shins. I included this tidbit of info, because I see that question asked a lot on social media forums. I strategically added white gel pen to areas as well as enamel dots to finish off my card. I hope you like it!
