Hello crafters! I hope you had a fabulous weekend and had the chance to smell the beautiful Spring Flowers. Not only did I get to take a lovely walk this weekend, but I squeezed some time to craft, which you all know is my happy place! Today’s card features the stunning digital stamp from Joy Clair Designs called Forever Moments. This stamp set come with two beautiful floral sprays and six sentiments that are perfect for almost any occasion!
For this card I sized one of the floral sprays from Forever Moments to take up a 4 x5.25 inch panel diagonally and printed it onto smooth cardstock. I colored the florals with one of my favorite Copic blends, and then added the dark blue green background with one single marker. I printed one of the sentiments from Forever Moments onto Vellum using my laser printer. I love how the sentiment looks heat embossed on the vellum. In a round about way it is because the toner found in laser printers is actually plastic, just as embossing powder is. Before adding the vellum band to my panel, I splatter white acrylic paint and Unicorn Hair onto it. I decided to pop this panel up onto a gold mirror card stock to add a touch more elegance before applying to the black card base. For just a little more shine, I used a few gold gemstones. I think this turned out beautifully. Don’t you think it would be perfect for a wedding card?
