Hi crafty friends! I’m curious what’s your favorite flavor of ice cream? I teeter between cookies-n-cream, and strawberry! You may be asking why that’s important? Well because it Tastes Like Summer, and The Rabbit Hole Designs is celebrating with fun new stamps this month. Be sure to hop along with us!
Isn’t this card so much fun? I loved using the Scooped 3 layer stencil to create the background, even though I only used 2 of the layers. I love having versatile supplies like this one! To create the background I used Cotton Tail Blending Brushes and Simon Hurley Grrr ink through the cone layer, and then Piggy Back ink through the scoop layer, creating a two toned ice cream cone.
I stamped the Tastes Like Summer stamp with Memento ink and colored it with Copics. I die cut a stitched rectangle and heat embossed the sentiment. From there I fussy cut the images and made a little scene. For final embellishment I added a twine bow and a heart from the stamp set. Super cute, right? I hope you will give it a try!
