Egg-stra Hoppy Easter

Hello crafters! Oh my goodness I am so excited to share this Easter card with you!! I used this amazing Speckled Egg background stamp from Joy Clair Designs and could be happier with the results. Honestly I wasn’t sure how a Copic colored background would turn out, but I think it pops! What do you think?

The Speckled Egg background stamp is a digi, so was happy to be able to size it to my exact needs. I printed this on smooth cards stock measuring 4×5.25 inches so that I could still cut it down and have a fun border,. I colored the background using 3 color blends of Copic markers, but they would be gorgeous with any medium. I chose a soft salmon, robins egg blue, and green pastel for my color palette. In addition to the Speckled Egg, I colored the sweet bunny from the Bunny Tales stamp set, which is also a digital stamp. I sized the Bunny Tales image down to the smaller size so that the background was the star of the show. I often forget that backgrounds can be the focal point and want to start doing that more often. I think it turned out pretty stinkin’ cute!

Okay I think that pretty much sums up these beautiful, but easy to create cards! I hope this inspires you to take a look at the Joy Clair Designs Shop today!
