Hello friends! I hope you had a great week! I have good news… it’s almost the weekend! Today I have two cards for Blue Knight Rubber Stamps featuring the Mare and Foal stamp set. My cards look similar this time, but I used two different mediums. I hope you like them. Here we go…
The first card was stamped with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink and heat embossed with clear powder. Using my new Karin markers I added a simple wash of color over the image to let the beauty of the stamp shine.
The second card I colored with Copic markers, so I started out with Memento ink. I colored the image in muted tones, but then came back and stamped the image again with Versafine Clair Nocturne to make the fine details of the stamp come through. It’s very important you get your coloring completely done before stamping with the Versafine because it can ruin your markers.
I think these both turned out nicely. I can see this as a fun card for Mother’s day or an all occasion. What would you do with this beautiful stamp?
