Hi friends! I’m so glad you’re here with me today, as I’m featuring two cards by Blue Knight Rubber Stamps using the Half Bouquet stamp set. Both cards are colored with Copics, but by changing my brush strokes and colors, I have completely different looking flowers. Let’s take a look…
The first card is a mini slimline; I finally jumped on the band wagon! It measures 3×6 inhches, in case you don’t know what a mini slimline is. I colored it to look pretty much the way the artist drew it. You will notice I used gray tones to make the “white flower” pop. Actually I used the Bv 20-25 range of copics, but it still is gray. lol But you will notice the stamen are exactly like a daisy should be, but in the next card they aren’t.
The second card you will notice looks more like a cone flower just by changing the color. But what is really different are the stamen. I drew in tiny circles with my BV markers to give it a different texture. You will also notice that I changed the texture of the leaves by adding flicking motion shading, making it appear more rounded. I also stenciled clouds using a copic friendly ink. My last step was heat embossing a sentiment from the Sunflower Sunshine stamp set.
If you are interested in any of the Copic coloring leave me a comment below or email me. Thanks for stopping by!
