Hi friends! I’m popping in real fast to share a card that focuses on a background stamp as the focal point. I often forget how gorgeous these stamps are and that they can stand alone. Here I am featuring the Speckled Egg Background stamp from Joy Clair Designs. Let’s take a look!
I started out by printing the Speckled Egg stamp onto smooth card stock and coloring it with Copics. I chose the classic robin’s egg blue, and brown eggs for this color palette. I die cut the kraft card stock using a Wonky Stitched rectangle die and then trimmed the egg panel to fit inside the stitching. Using another stitched rectangle die I cut out the center and popped it with foam tape.
Next I die cut out a banner and the word hello three times to add dimension to my card. I didn’t add anything else because I thought it spoke for itself. I do hope this inspires you to try some backgrounds this week.
Okay I think that pretty much sums up these beautiful, but easy to create cards! I hope this inspires you to take a look at the Joy Clair Designs Shop today!
