Hi friends! Today is a fabulous day at The Rabbit Hole Designs as we celebrate the first day of the March Release! For day one I am showcasing the stamp set called Adventure Awaits, and along the hop you’ll also see Spring Delivery.
To make this card, I started off by stamping the Adventures Awaits with Copic friendly ink, and colored it. I fussy cut the image, but there are dies available if you prefer that. I used a small tag die from my stash to embellish the suitcase, and heat embossed the “smile” sentiment. I also heat embossed the main sentiment in white. I love the sentiment because my best memories are of impromptu road trips with friends.
I created the background by using a page from an old dictionary and ink blended Distress Oxide inks through the Back Alley Stencil. To further distress it I tore and inked the edges. I matted that on black and red layers after distressing the edges with a scissors blade. My inspiration for this card was vintage suitcases. I hope I pulled it off?
