Hi crafty friends! Welcome back, I’m so glad you have joined me for a fabulous Easter Tulip Vase Card! I have the pleasure of crafting with Scrappy Tails Crafts, using the Flower Vase Pop Up Card Die, and the Outlined Tulip Assortment Two Layer Dies. I am almost embarrassed to say, but this was my first ever pop up card and I am hooked! So much fun!!!!!

This card was so much fun, and a die cutting dream! For this fun card I die cut 2 panels and 4 braces to attach the flowers to. The Flower Vase Pop Up Card die cuts and scores your paper making construction simple and easy to follow. In addition I die cut 8 panels from the patterned paper to decorate this octagon vase. Using the Outlined Tulip Assortment dies, I cut the solid dies with patterned paper, and the outlines with solid. I repeated that process with stems.

Making the arrangement is the fun part! I loved piecing the flowers together and attaching them strategically to the hidden brackets!! What I love about this project is that it is contained inside a standard envelope. I made the arrangements a little fluffy so I would use a 5x7in envelope.

My last little bit of decorating was adding the sentiment from the Easter Lilies stamp set, which is beautiful. You can find examples of it on the Scrappy Tails Blog.

Okay that wraps it up for me…
