The King is the Reason

Hi and welcome back to my happy place! Today I am bringing you a beautiful landscape scene featuring stamps from the Fairy Stamper Store! I have chosen to showcase all Lavina Stamps to portray this Christmas scene featuring Santa, and the Messiah, but He is subtly present. It’s a shame that Santa has become the superstar of Christmas in this world, and very little attention is given to Jesus, the reason for the season. I hope this changes, as our world needs a lot of Jesus right now.

For this 6 inch square I blended multiple distress oxide inks to form the sky and landscape. I masked the moon so that it would shine brightly. I stamped the Christmas Night LAV082 with Versafine Noctourne Clair ink for a crisp impression. Then the Fir Tree LAV022 was stamped three times with Versafine Clair Morning Mist and clear heat embossed. Finally the most important element, the Mini Crown LAV622 was stamped with versamark ink and embossed in gold. I continued to blend the inks to make the proper hillsides and shadows. Finally I matted the scene onto black cards stock and popped it up on foam tape to a lavender card base!
