Shining Star

Hi and welcome back! Merry Christmas Eve! I’m sharing a quick card featuring Polkadooles‘, Shining Star clear stamp. I thought this was a perfect card to share, because it shows how everything stopped when the King was born and how the Christmas Star shone brightly for all to follow. If you don’t know the story of Christmas I suggest started at Matthew 2:9-11

⁹ After listening to the king, they went on their way. And behold, the star that they had seen when it rose went before them until it came to rest over the place where the child was. ¹⁰ When they saw the star, they rejoiced exceedingly with great joy. ¹¹ And going into the house, they saw the child with Mary his mother, and they fell down and worshiped him. Then, opening their treasures, they offered him gifts, gold and frankincense and myrrh.

I made this card by stamping the Shining Star stamp with Memento Ink in the color Tuxedo Black and colored it with Copic Markers. Using the cut n scan I fussy cut her out and arranged the scene. The beautiful star, tree, and poinsettias are from the Winnie Winterland printable embellies bundle. Having these ready to go makes creating fast and simple! The backcground paper from the White Christams Printable papers 2 was the the perfect pairing for this scene.
