A Midnight Swing

Hi and welcome back to my crafty place! I hope by now you have your Christmas crafting done, so I brought you a Midnight Swing scene featuring Fairy Hugs Store Stamps. This dreamy scene features Tarwep, Fairy Swing, and the Leafy Scrolls stamp set. Let’s take a peek together….

To create this Midnight Swing scene, first, I die cut a circle to form a masked moon.  I then blended Distress Oxide inks in the colors Gathered Twigs, Stormy Sky, and Tumbled glass.  Once I was happy with the blend, I removed the mask and lightly blended Antique Linen over the moon and made clouds with Pumice stone.  I always like to give a list of the inks used, in case you want to recreate a similar project.

The stars of the show of course, are the Fairy Hugs stamps.  I stamped TarwepFairy Swing, and the Leafy Scroll in Versafine Clair Twilight and then heat embossed in clear.  I think the blue ink compliments this scene better than black ink would have.  I then mounted the card panel onto an ivory layer and then a navy card base.  Very simple… but oh so pretty!

Just a small disclaimer! All items used in all of my projects are (or have been) purchased with my own funds, but this does not include design team items that I have received or otherwise stated.
