Spooky Sky with Fairy Hugs Grog

Hi and welcome back! It’s getting down to the wire for Halloween and our last spooky skies for the season. I’m excited to share with you my favorite little troll, Grog from Fairy Hugs! His grumpy face makes me melt and I love how he’s standing guard with the spooky sky behind him!

I started with background by blending Vintage Photo, Crackling Campfire, Carved Pumpkin, and Black Soot distress inks over a cloud stencil to form the sky. Using a Misti stamping tool and Versafine Clair Nocturne ink I stamped the Fairy Hugs Logs, Grog, Oliver and heat embossed them with clear EP. I added a small grass border to the bottom to add a bit a depth. To make Grog’s grumpiness stand out, I highlighted him with a white gel pen.
