Adding Sparkle To Your Cards

Hi and welcome back! I am so glad you’re here with me today! I am sharing a sparkly card that features a collaboration between Brutus Monroe and ThermoWeb. Both companies make it so easy to add sparkle to your cards. In this design, Brutus Monroe has toner sheets available that you can cut down to size or a stencil that when Deco Foil is applied it adds the sparkle!

I’m really loving the rainbow Christmas cards that we are starting to see this season, so I couldn’t resist to break out the Rainglow decofoil sheets to make this slim line card. I ran some Deco Foil Transfer Duo Gel through the Baubles background stencil and waited for that to dry.

Tip: The Duo gel allows you to either run your project through your die cutting machine or laminator. When the gel is dry it is tacky enough that your die cutting machine applies enough pressure to transfer the foil.

Tip: When using toner sheets, you apply the foil, pretty side up and you get a perfect transfer every time!

I wanted to add more sparkle and strategically placed iridescent dots. I’m not sure they were needed, but it made me happy! My final thing was to stamp and die cut a sentiment from the Crafty Simple strips!

Quick and easy! Now time to get it in the mail!

What is your favorite way of adding sparkle to your cards? I would love to know!
