Say “I Love You” With Roses

Hey there! I hope you’re having a great day? There’s no better way to say “I I Love You” than with roses; don’t you think? Well for me it is said best with Rose Corner dies, which happens to be the September Die of the Month from Brutus Monroe. After years of marriage, my hubs has finally learned that crafty things are the way to my heart! You can’t argue with that!!!

I am in love with this Rose Corner die as the possibilities are endless and make the perfect card! I backed a piece of the Oscar Glamour card stock with an adhesive sheet so that it was easily place on my card panel without glue getting everywhere. I’m typically a liquid glue girl, but with intricate dies, I go straight to the adhesive sheets.

Once I sent this through my die cutting machine I adhered the Rose Corner die onto a water color panel and then applied metallic colors from my stash. Once dry, I fussy cut around the flowers, as I didn’t inlay the pieces. For added interest I splattered a bit of the colors left on my palette. The simple sentiment is from the Tux stamp set and was heat embossed using embossing ink and penny embossing powder.
