Hi and welcome back to my crafty place! Today I have a fun and easy Under The Sea Scene featuring Fairy Hugs, Oscar! I just love Oscar and his cute tentacles, which makes creating an under the sea scene even more fun!

To create my under the sea scene, I started by stenciling Distress oxide inks in the colors Blueprint Sketch and Mermaid Lagoon through a Lavinia Stencil called, Coral. I then heat embossed over that with clear embossing powder. I added the Net in the upper corners stamping with Versafine Onyx black ink.

Of Course we can not forget the main attraction of the under the sea scene, Oscar! I stamped Oscar, onto the Fairy Scapes Under the Sea card stock using a Misti stamping tool. I am glad I used the stamping tool, because I did stamp him twice before applying the clear embossing powder to him. Once embossed, I added white gel pen to his tentacles, and some Plum Fairy Dust glitter.

In addition to Oscar, I stamped the mini oyster and added detail with Spectrum Noir metallic pencils and Plum Fairy dust. The starfish and sentiment are from a retired Stampin Up Paper Pumpkin set I found in my stash. I hope this inspires you to make an Under The Sea Scene! I’d love to see it!
