Hi and welcome back to my corner of the web! Today I am bringing you a inky piece of goodness. I am featuring the Abstract Umbrellas background stamp from Brutus Monroe, but approached it differently than most. For this project I stamped the image in alcohol ink safe ink and heat set it for extra protection. I used cheap poster paper, as it has a very smooth almost plastic like surface. I added the alcohol inks and moved it around with 91% alcohol and a baby wipe. I went for fall colors, as we are starting to transition from Summer to Fall here in the Midwest. Let’s see what you think…

Once finished with my panel I trimmed it down to 5×5 inch and matted with a teal and white card stock and then attached it to an orange 6×6 inch card base. I stamped the Thanks sentiment from the Extra Sentimental stamp set with Raven detail ink and then die cut into a circle. I repeated the die cutting with 2 larger dies and then trimmed them to make a dome.

Oh my this was so much fun to make, and if you love to get inky… you have to try out the alcohol inks. I will link the ones I used below!
