Hi and welcome back! Oh my goodness do I have a fun Christmas project to share with you today! It’s perfect for Office Christmas gifts or teacher appreciation gifts. Stick with me it’s fabulous! The Digi Choosday team was challenged to make a Christmas project that was different from a card. This challenge was perfect, because I have needed to step out of my comfort zone and this did that for me and you wont believe how easy it is! I of course am featuring Polkadoodles images, sentiments and papers, which as you all know coordinate perfectly. My crafting journey started at the Dollar Tree to get a traveler’s coffee mug that you can design the inside cover, which in my opinion is fabulous!
Tuesday is always Digi Choosday where you can find super savings, but you better hurry, it won’t last long!

The Winnie Angel- Little Tree and Cute Robbins with Stockings images were printed onto smooth card stock and colored with Copic markers. The beautiful Winnie Winterland Paper Haven 1 paper pack, The Festive Word Art embellishments, and the Peace and Joy sentiment were also sized and printed onto white card stock for this project. I even die cut the poinsettia with the same paper pack and I think it added a stunning touch. The mug came with a paper insert that could be colored, but I used it for a template and added my own using the Little Tree Image and the paper pack. To finish off the cup I added some pink bakers twine and K-Cup coffee pods to to the inside.
Construction of the carrier:
This will fit any cup that measures 2 7/8 inch diameter bottom, 6 3/4 inch tall, and 3 inch diameter at top
Using one piece of 12×12 kraft card stock I scored each side at 2.25 inch and and 4.5 inches and then folded and burnished all lines I removed the 3 corner squares on all 4 sides of the paper. I then cut the flaps and glued the box together to form the box. Here is a video from the Paper Posh Lady that you may find helpful. I then glued 3 pieces of kraft card stock together to form the back handle measuring 3.5 x 6 inches which was done to make it more sturdy and glued it in. You could always use chip board and cover it. Once constructed I matted it with the Winnie Winterland Paper Haven 1 papers and decorated with The Festive Word Art set, and made a circular tag featuring the Cute Robbins with Stockings, and another with the Peace and Joy Sentiment. I added shredded decorative paper to add a fun gift wrapped feel.
Copic Coloring: I buy mine from Scrapbook Pal as they have fast shipping and are family owned, if you’re interested
