Hi and welcome back to my crafty space! Today I am celebrating Christmas in July with this gorgeous slimline card! Shiny baubles always make me smile and this one didn’t disappoint. I admit I went with a different color palette, than I normally would because I looked up on Pinterest what the “go to” colors were going to be for Christmas 2020. Surprising to me, blue-gray, ivory, and golds. But if you know me, there has to be a pop of red in there somewhere!!!

To create these ornaments I first stamped them using the Falliday set and then heat embossed the floral from the Botanical Banners stamps set. The Sterling EP is subtle, but elegant. I then scored Lunch Bag card stock randomly to give it the the corrugated look and then applied Pearl Chroma Glaze with my finger so that it would be heavier in some areas. Of course, I hit it with my heat tool, because I love the distressed, bubbly effect you get! The sentiment is from the same Falliday set and was stamped onto vellum. I used some die cuts from my stash to decorate a bit. Such a fun card to make, and I love the non traditional colors. What do you think?
