Hello and welcome back to my crafty space. I have a clean and simple card to share with you today the features Bugaboo’s Freebie Friday image. You can find more inspiration from the design team over Catch The Bug Challenge Blog. I hope you love this little guy and that you find a bunch of uses for him.
I started out by manipulating the image in Microsoft Word and flipping it so that the monkey would swing from right to left and then typed in the sentiment. From there I printed the image on Copic friendly paper and colored it up. I added a few highlights with a white gel pen and added a little sparkle using a brush pen. I die cut the image and black base with a stitched scalloped rectangle die and applied it to the the A2 card base. For the final touches I added black half-backed pearls.
