Classic Design Team Challenge: October

Hello and welcome back to the October Challenge at Classic Design Team Challenge, where our fabulous sponsor is Polkadoodles and our theme is “anything goes!”  My card today features the ever so beautiful Winnie, in the Gift of Christmas which is colored with Copic markers and detailed in a white gelly roll pen.  I added my favorite poinsettia die cuts to add an even more of a Christmas vibe.  The edges are inked with Rhubarb Stalk Memento ink and shaped using a stylus. I find that if you off set the layers as you stack them you make a beautiful flower.  Even though the die set came with berries to add to the center, I left them off and added gold stickles because I find it helps hold the 3D shape better.  I added a few white sprigs to add more texture and I was finished.   I love how this turned out and hope you do too?

Have you started your Christmas shopping yet?  If so who was the first person you bought for?

Products used:  white/mulberry/olive/pool card stock, Martha Stewart Snowflake dsp, Spellbinders poinsettia die, Spellbinders Paisley blooms die, Copic markers, white Gelly Roll Pen, gold Stickles, and Polkadoodles Gift of Christmas Winnie Angel digital stamp
