Hi there! It’s Thursday and over at Catch The Bug Challenge Blog it is Oldie, but Goodie inpsiration day. I am featuring a cutie called, Bugaboo Brat Football Boy which I originally colored to put into my son’s scrapbook, but he injured himself. Needless to say the both of us will be watching from the stands this year. I decided to make this into a birthday card as we aren’t going to need a book. I searched up football birthday sayings and found a website called Wishes, Messages, Sayings where the fabulous inside sentiment came from. It appears that it is a free website, but of course I wanted to give them credit!
Which football team is your fave?
Without further ado….
Products used: white/black/green card stock, copic markers, Darice striped embossing folder, gold/red sequins, Spectrum Noir sparkle pen, white gelly roll pen, Inside sentiment, Word doc front sentiment, stickles, and Bugaboo Brat Football boy

Your fabulous colouring and lovely clean design showcase the footballer perfectly Joy. Such a shame your son injured himself, hope it's nothing too serious and he'll be able to play again next season.
xx
Joy your card is adorable and a great birthday card for your son. So sorry to hear that he got injured. My son played football and I was always worried, especially when I would hear those pads or helmets hit, yikes. Living in WI I HAVE to be a Green Bay Packer fan as well as being in Madison a Badger fan too. I also graduated from UW-Madison so definitely a Bucky Badger fan!!! Needless to say….that was 29 years ago now, lol.
What a great image for the front of your card Joy, and so well coloured. The sentiment really does complete the card wonderfully. I (sort of) follow Rugby Union, and the All Blacks!
Blessings
Maxine
That is so cute and what great bright colors. I do hope he heals quickly!
He had ACL repair this week… i guess him being down has explained my absence from blog world. I am an Ohio State Buckeye Fan through and through! But Lisa, don't you know I'm still 29! Forever. My kids put a 29 on bday cake every year and then add individual candles for the unspoken years. They are brats!!! lol
Maxine, I like watching rugby, but don't know much about it. My son's high school only added it to their program 4 years ago. I'm hoping the sport grows in this area.
Thanks Lola! He's on the mend, taking it one day at a time.
