Happy Wednesday To You!  Did You know there was a Fried Chicken Day?  Neither did I!  but, this guy is perfect to celebrate it, and since I’m on the beach, well the chicken is on the beach too!  The actual day for Fried Chicken Day is July 6th, but this falls under Humor Me Wednesday at Catch The Bug Challenge Blog where, we try do stuff to make you chuckle!  You can find this handsome fella at Bugaboo and a whole lot more to help you bring a smile to someone’s face.

Just a small story for you.. when I was little my grandparents would take me to church dinners, specifically chicken dinners and it was “all you could eat.” Me, being a 6 yr old obviously ate pretty cheap.  So there’s cute little me in pig tails with a missing front tooth grinning waiting to eat some mashed potatoes and chicken legs.  Don’t you know… I ate 20 chicken legs. I had grown men staring at me wanting to know where I was putting it all… and I topped it off with apple pie.   I hope that made you smile a little bit.

Now that I am a lot older, I am tanning on the beach with a cold drink in hand like this cute chicken I brought to you today.  My beach towel matches the polka-dot paper too.. and the sun…. It is gorgeous!!   Thanks for humoring me today and reading my blog!!!
