Hi there! I hope you’re having a good Monday! My card today was a project I did with a stamping club I belong, and my crafty friend gave this old technique new life. She provided an already stamped and heat embossed image and then we used splashless bleach and Q-tip to color the area that we wanted to bleach or change the colors of. I have tried this technique since then and depending on the type of paper you produce new colors instead of a “white” bleached area. You should give it a try. I added Crafter’s Companion Sparkle pens in different shades of pink and puple and clear. I love all the shimmer and am really excited to add this technique to my knowledge base.
Products used: white/burgandy card stock, American Crafts DIY patterned paper, Stampin up Fifht Avenue Florea retired stamp, rose gold sequins, Clorox splashless bleach, Spectrum Noir sparkle pens, Versafine ink, Recollections black embossing powder, and Technique Tuesday Say it Hugs stamp set,

Great card and always interesting to try new techniques

Thanks Carol, It was neat to see how different papers reacted. It isn't by far my most technical card, but it was good to learn.
