Hello there!  I have another card to share with you today that’s going to a recipient in my card club.  This month’s challenge was use Graphic 45’s Sweet Sister-Penny’s Paper Doll Paper. For me this was a no brainer to either go with Halloween or pop culture/politics.   I love the show, Handmaid’s Tale and so I went in that direction.  I used a Julie Nuttig stamp because it reminded me a little bit of an ex-first lady and I had to add a little satire!  The front panel sentiment is the greeting the Handmaid’s use to greet one another, just like Hello.  I thought the postage stamps were perfect for this theme, too…   For the inside sentiment I chose a sentiment also, from the Handmaid’s tale.  If you have never had the chance to read the books or watch the show, I encourage you to do so.  In some odd, disturbing way I can see this being the way of the world if we aren’t careful. Now for my card… I hope you like it.

Products used:  white/charcoal card stock, Graphic 45 Sweet Sister-Penny’s Paper Doll Paper, Memento Tuxedo Black ink, Copic Markers, Word Doc sentiments, Penny Black Antique Frames, Distress Oxide ink Vintage photo, Nuvo drops, and Prima-Julie Nuttig Steff stamp.
