Hey there! I couldn’t help I had to jump on the Mermay bandwagon.  This image is from Some Odd Girl Stamps and Design who sponsored a coloring class that I participated in through Sweet Sentiment which I think is going to be the next big coloring guru in the card world!  Check her out when you have a chance.

I colored my Mermaid with copic markers and then added glossy accents to her glasses, and of course some sparkle to her tail with Sparkle silk from Fun Stamper’s Journey.  I made the back ground with Hero Arts Reactive Sea glass ink and Reactive Sea Salt.  I added Distress Oxide blue print sketch to add depth.  I got this great blend by using Canson XL water color paper and smooshing and spritzing the colors drying between the layers.   I used a stamp and die set from Waffle Flower called Make a Fish, and I used some die cuts from the My Hero Arts March 2019, Aquarium Ocean Fish.  I truly had a blast getting inky and creating today.  I hope you like my card.  If you do, I would appreciate you hitting the follow button!
Thanks, Have a great weekend!
