The Beauty of God’s Promise

Good evening!  I hope you’re having a great weekend.  I have been busy making Easter Basket favors, and took a break to make a card.  This turned out to be a labor of love as I do not have the matching die for my beautiful Botanical Roses stamp set, but it turns out I never ordered it.  I turned on Alexa and listened to Air One radio while I fussy cut the flowers as it find it much more calming with music in the background.  I recently took a class that featured blue and green flowers so that was my inspiration for the day.  I started out stamping my images on vellum using versamark and then heat embossing them.  I then used distress inks on the flip side of the paper.  I was hoping that my cut n scan would pick up the images, but no such luck.  It was meant for me to fussy cut and listen to Christian music today.  This card truly soothed my soul.  After getting the flowers cut I shaped them with the basic shaping mold and a stylus.  I used a hot glue gun on a cool setting to layer my flowers.  I then used distressed stain spray to color some white card stock and die cut the leafy accents.  From there I pieced my card together until I was happy.
I hope you like my card… and give me a follow if you do please.
Have a great rest of the weekend!
