This week has been busy gearing up for fall and Halloween card swaps.  My group challenge this month with my crafty frineds was to use a plaid cloth strip from retired Longaberger Basket Company, and chip board buttons, and as always anything goes.  The buttons were not speaking to me and until last night when I started playing with them and I saw a hat.  My vision was for a snowman, but later decided the plaid said scarecrow.  I made a fence out wood designer paper that I cut free hand because I didn’t have a die.  I think this card turned out cute and met the challenge.  The scare crow is from free-coloring-pages.com, and the sentiment was printed from a Word documents.  Without further ado:

Products used:  Image from free coloring pages, Spectrum Noir alcohol markers, Longaberger fabric, straw cs, mustard cs, sienna cs, white cs, spectrum noir alcohol markers, yellow raffia, sienna raffia, gold and rust stickles, chip board button of unknown origin, wood ephemera,  fossilized amber and vintage photo Distress Oxide inks, and finally, wood textures dsp from Stampin up.
